Warm Summers beckon for cool refreshing beverages. Here are three tasty, low sugar, low carb, summer cocktail recipes to mix-up your next pool party!
It’s summer which means the drinks are flowing, and while that’s typically a great thing, we all know that sugary beverages can take a toll on our health, both the next morning (sugary drinks = hello hangover) and on our waistline. Drinking doesn’t have to mean hangovers and weight gain, though! Try these 3 summer cocktail recipes which are lower in sugar and carbohydrates than typical cocktails but just as fun as their more caloric counterparts!
1.5 oz Vodka
6 oz Health-Ade Ginger & Lemon Kombucha
1.Fill glass with ice
2.Add vodka, kombucha, and a squirt of lemon juice to taste
4.Garnish with lemon wedge
This cocktail may only contain 3 ingredients, but it’s certainly not lacking in flavor. While super tasty and easy to make, its best property is that the probiotics in it from the kombucha will actually help to usher the alcohol out of your body and leave you and your gut hangover-free the next morning!
